School Management System in PHP

Introduction

Nowadays education plays a great role in development of any country. Many of education organizations try to increase education quality. One of the aspects of this improvement is managing of school resources.

With growth of internet many of education organizations perform management of education resources online. However, the sites developed by those organizations support a few languages and have to be redesigned in case new languages are required to be added or interface of the entire site is required to be changed. The redesigning process takes a long time since thousand lines of code should be rewritten or modified.

Taking all these disadvantages into account the system that manages school resources and supports multi languages and whose interface can be changed without rewriting all the code can be designed. To meet all requirements the system also can run on different platforms. All of those aspects of the system can be achieved by using XML. However XML is a simple text format that should be transformed to html format. To perform this transform XSL should be used. In addition the system can be designed in such a way that it runs for a single school or for different schools. The single school implementation can be achieved using the PHP technology. However, the implementation for different schools can be performed in many ways. One of those is Java Web Service technology, which is used for business applications. In Java Web Services the methods that can be called by the client are identified by WSDL document. For purpose of connecting to server the messages are sent using Simple Object Access Protocol.

Introduction

My project about Smartphones information  is especially designed to provide information about smartphones. I have used HTML, HTML5, CSS, PHP, Javascript, Jquery etc while designing the project. This project is developed as a semester project of the BscIT 6^th semester. This project is carried out to provide information and news about smartphones. I hope my website will help to get more information about smartphones to all the users and others too. The main purpose of this project is to share the news, events and information about smartphones. Furthermore, I have designed a comment box, so that anyone can point out the pitfalls or suggest for its betterment and also the user can logged into the site and get rights to comment to any product.

Objective

This website is designed for all the users to get all the required information about the smartphones. Every project has its own objectives. My objectives to develop the website are highlighted below:

Result Processing System in PHP

 

The main objective of this project RPS (Result Processing System) is to manage student information and assessments. This system will help school administration to manage student profile and class teacher to manage students’ assessments. 

This project is specially made for schools and colleges to prepare student’s marksheet. Students result is the criteria for the measurement of the student’s capability in terms of academic performance in the school. It is used to measure a student’s capability in each subject offered by the student, because the student result is very important to the student and his/her parents, there is need to avoid common mistakes made during the result processing, this can easily be achieved by an automated result processing system. This system is an effective, efficient and error free results processing system designed and implemented for secondary schools for proper running of the schools results processing. Therefore, I have developed an result processing system (RPS) in order to manage student information and assessments. This system will help school administration (principal and clerk) to manage student profile and class teacher to manage students’ assessments.
